It’s so nice to meet you! My name is Alice, and I am the sole stylist and owner of Wildwood Salon.
My career as a hair stylist is deeply rooted in my dance and theater experience.
It was through the performing arts that I first experienced the transformative powers of great hair and makeup.
I believe there is a special main character within each of us, and we are most beautiful and happy when we are authentic to that part of ourselves.
Fads come and go, but authenticity is personal style for LIFE.
My experiences as a performer were not only my gateway to cosmetology, but they led me straight to another type of production work: wedding parties!
Brides are, after all, the main character of their big day.
Some of my favorite moments in my career have been working “behind the scenes” as a wedding stylist. It’s incredible to watch everything come together while getting to know the bride and her unique community of friends and family who have supported her along the way.
When I’m not behind the chair, I am usually deep in some kind of creative project. I love cooking and crafting. I love listening to all kinds of music and podcasts. I love to garden, and I love to spend time in nature.
And of course, I love to dance. I am a belly dancer, and travel New York and New England for all types of shows, events, and workshops. I also run a small dance school in my community, teaching recreational dance to children and senior citizens.
My husband and I share our home with a cat and three rescue dogs. I love animals, and work hard so I can give mine a bougie lifestyle!
